General characteristics/temperament: The Biewer Terrier is intelligent, confident, fun-loving, kind, friendly, loyal, and very devoted. Good with children as well as with other dogs of all sizes, they make a loyal and fast friend to all they consider part of their family. Generally Biewers are not noisy or difficult in any way, and are a true joy to own. Due to their very small size, owners must take extra care to keep them safe from predators such as hawks at all times, and must never leave them unattended outside.
