General characteristics/temperament: Bull Terriers are sweet, playful and clownish, robust, active, and exceedingly friendly. They become very attached to their owners and families and thrive with lots of human contact and attention. They make exceptional pets and companions for an active person or family. Bull Terriers typically love children, but they must not be allowed to get over stimulated around younger children and must be obedience trained.
