Color: All colors and color combinations except pure white, white patches or liver color.
Life span: 12 to 16 years.
General characteristics/temperament: The Eurasier is self assured, calm, even tempered, intelligent, watchful and alert. They are good-natured and make very devoted family dogs. They are reserved towards strangers but not aggressive. They generally get along well with and are non-confrontational with other dogs, but will defend themselves when they have no other choice. They have no hunting instinct, but like to chase whatever runs in a playful way. They thrive on constant close contact with their family but they do not demand constant interaction, only close proximity to the daily activities of their family. They love snow and prefer cooler temperatures but will adapt to warmer climates if provided with shady or breezy spots to escape the heat.
