Life span: 12 to 15 years.
General characteristics/temperament: The Norfolk Terrier is alert, gregarious, charming, hardy, fearless, affectionate, and loyal. They are one of the smallest working terriers. They have a weather-resistant double coat and are versatile in the field. They love people and generally get along well with children and other pets if properly socialized with them. However, they do have a strong prey drive for small vermin, especially outdoors, and should be supervised closely around pet rodents.
