Color: All shades of red, wheaten, black and tan or grizzle.
Life span: 12 to 15 years.
General characteristics/temperament: The Norwich Terrier is gay, fearless, adaptable, loyal and affectionate. They are one of the smallest working terriers. They love children, and generally get along well with other dogs and cats. However, they were bred to hunt vermin, and should never be trusted around pet rodents or other small caged pets.

Exercise requirement: A long walk or vigorous play in the yard for 20 to 30 minutes daily.
Grooming requirement: The double coat should be combed once a week to prevent matting and remove any loose hair. Hand strip twice a year. Bathe as needed.
