Color: Fawn or black.
General characteristics/temperament: The Pug is sturdy, even-tempered, playful, charming, dignified, outgoing, and loving. They live to please and to be near their people. They make great family pets, and can adapt to different living situations. They are very attentive and thrive on lots of attention from their family. Because of their short noses, they are prone to overheating, and must be kept cool in hot climates.

Exercise requirement: Pugs do not demand much exercise. However, regular exercise will help keep them healthy and fit.
Grooming requirement: The coat needs minimal grooming, but the folds of their wrinkles need to be kept clean and dry to prevent infections.
Known health problems: Heat stroke, eye injuries, entropion, obesity, granulomatous meningoencephalitis, hemivertebrae, dystocia, demodectic mange.
