Color: White with red, red with white markings, or brindle patches with white markings.
Life span: 7 to 10 years.
General characteristics/temperament: The Saint Bernard is powerful, gentle, calm, dignified, and loyal. They tend to drool, although some individuals will drool more than others. Socialization and obedience training must start early because of how big they will become and how quickly they grow. They are eager to please and respond well to training. With proper socialization and training, they are good with children and make great family pets.
