Color: A sable pattern seen in colors of grey through red and combinations of these colors in various shades, sometimes with a dark muzzle, mask, or white markings.
General characteristics/temperament: The Swedish Vallhund is watchful, energetic, fearless, alert, intelligent, friendly, and steady. They are eager to please and make a good companion dog. They thrive on attention and are very devoted to their family. They can be wary of strangers and tend to be protective even though they're small, so proper socialization and training are a must.
